  • The University of Florida (UF) is the flagship university for the state of Florida, ranked No. 5 among the nation’s top public universities by U.S. News and World Report. The UF Division of Enrollment Management recruits, enrolls and retains students, with a subdivision of Admissions which receives more than 65,000 applications annually.

  • While I work for the entire University of Florida Enrollment Management division, my main ‘client’ is the Admissions team. After being promoted based on leadership ability, I became the communications project manager and strategist for all in-house creative. This includes publications, mailers, emails, campaigns, microsites, and division website maintenance.

    I research, budget, design, and execute more than 30 publications annually while working closely with university teams to create vision, adhere to brand strategies, maintain budgets, and meet tight deadlines. In addition to creating the publications, I also work closely and negotiate with vendors over contracts and write print specifications for large projects, sometimes totaling over $100,000.

  • I am the project manager and sole graphic designer for four major, annual campaigns that span across print and web. I ensure design and communication quality that aligns with university enrollment and retention goals. These campaigns align with the Admissions cycle, targeting prospective students in the Fall and admitted students in the Spring.

  • I am currently acting as the sole UX/UI designer, and sole graphic designer, for 8 websites/microsites with AA accessible design and accessible, downloadable PDFs.

  • In 2022, I was awarded the Bronze Circle of Excellence award in the Student Recruitment Publications category for our Admissions Acceptance Package. This package included an envelope, folder, acceptance brochure, sticker sheet, and a felt pennant.

    Also in 2022, our team received the Silver Circle of Excellence award for our Dream Forward campaign in the Marketing Initiatives category. With only one week to plan, our team of 5 designed a postcard, a microsite, and a series of ads for a digital marketing campaign.
